Innovation Norway has been commissioned by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Fisheries to create a national origin label for Norwegian products. This is part of the strategy "The Whole of Norway Exports," which was introduced in the Hurdal platform. Now, the "Made in Norway" label has been launched, and we are among the first companies to qualify and proudly display the Norwegian flag on our self-produced products.

The origin label has been developed based on both Norwegian and international models, such as "Swiss Made," "New Zealand Made," and "Seafood from Norway." By associating with positive Norwegian values such as sustainability, responsibility, equal opportunities, and stunning nature, it aims to support the marketing and sales of Norwegian products.
Made in Norway is a protected trademark intended for marketing purposes. It aims to strengthen the position of Norwegian products and solutions in international markets. The labeling scheme is part of the "The Whole of Norway Exports" reform, initiated by the government to enhance Norway's international competitiveness.
Innovation Norway manages the labeling scheme and ensures that it upholds strict criteria for origin and responsibility.
