It is well documented that poor indoor air quality can aggravate symptoms in people with asthma, allergies or other sensitivities. The incidence of these diseases is increasing, and research shows that the causes of the increase may be linked to environmental factors outdoors and indoors.

Mennesker uten kjente allergier eller overfølsomhet kan også bli mer eller mindre syke av å oppholde seg i et dårlig inneklima. People with known allergies or sensitivities may be prone to illness if remaining in poor indoor air quality. Therefore we need a bigger focus on how to ensure good indoor air quality in Norwegian buildings.
